Dr. Shelley Lorimer

Dr. Shelley Lorimer received her Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Alberta in 1986. She is currently a Professor of Engineering in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at MacEwan University. Dr. Lorimer teaches Statics (ENGG 130), Dynamics (ENPH 131) and Engineering Computing (ENCP 100) and has taught Introduction to the Engineering Profession (ENGG 100/ENGG 101). She was the recipient of the YWCA Women of Distinction Award (2013)–Trailblazer category for her role in the establishment and growth of the first-year engineering program at MacEwan.
